a poem of love

There have been many poems written on love Some new and others tale of old Here is another poem of love That is fairly touching and soothingly right It’s an ode written from heart filled with love For the one who instilled love trust and hope Into a soul dead long ago Wanted to revive of terrifying insight He came into her life Bringing happiness and glow Soft and cool as the winter snow He came and filled in hope Hopes of a perfect tomorrow Having no more sorrows Gentle as coastal breeze He touched the heart and it freeze The touch so gentle filled with love Promises so right and pure as dove Refreshing as the monsoon rain He did away all sorrows and pain Not a tear to roll down the cheeks This is a pledge which he assured he would always keep Like a knight he rides the horse And keeps her safe from all the worldly odds So the story goes of the love ridding high and low Amidst the vales and mountain tracks He has much to fight and much to strife For his wife and a perfect life She will always be by his side and keep him safe From all the sorrows woes and pains This isn’t just a story or a love tale But the truth written in simple words Decorated and placed with colors of love Having not a day to waste in sorrow Living forever in love and peace This isn’t the end but a beginning of an ode of love (based on a novel....the content of which was love.........inspired me to write an ode of love) this is how i feel about life
