How do you mend a broken heart...
Two years gone was the pain to start...
So long the road has been... Empty and alone
Stand by yourself lonely... Inside a crowded room
The world speeds by... Your whole life a lie
Your dreams of love... and one gental touch as a feather of a dove
All those thoughts will be lost... And with the trash be tossed
Because life will set in... And repeat all your own sin
For the very first time... In your heart there is no chime
No chance for a smile... Frowning all the while
Being a lost cause... Not one will look or pause
You realize you are a man... Without a single leg on which to stand
Forever you be broken... Not one good word spoken
Your heart torn out... No strength left to shout
In a box put your heart and soul... Till the day you can pay the toll
Send them all away... Keep everyone at bay
No room in that heart... To attempt a new start! ! !

at first and then carried away with my greenthumb i planted everything trees and more trees and shrubs and bamboos and vines and hanging plants almost everything and so the blooming flowers died and the grasses diminishing like some hair of this baldness but nothing is lost in this garden of poems the birds came and built their nests some are still coming every morning and then the chirping begins |
